Annah Matsika

Annah Matsika is a social entrepreneur and senior international development leader known for building credible institutions and strengthening evidence for impact. As Deputy Country Director at Action Against Hunger, she provided strategic leadership across multi-sector programmes, partner delivery, and performance systems in complex environments.

As Director of the Space Leadership Program, she convened learning journeys that shape authentic African leaders in economic and social spaces. She brings deep expertise in monitoring, evaluation, learning, strategy, and business development across private and development sectors.

Sarah Marchand

Sarah Marchand is an action-oriented, results-led leader in blended finance and impact investment with 20 years of experience. Over nine years at British International Investment, she established the Technical Assistance Facility (allocating $80 million to projects in five years), built the blended finance function (now with $500 million to deploy), and has overseen the $2 billion Catalyst portfolio for the past 2.5 years.

Previously at TechnoServe, she led a Southern Africa team of 180 staff across agriculture and entrepreneurship programmes with an annual budget of $16 million. Having begun her career at Bain & Company, Sarah brings rigorous problem-solving, strong communications, and disciplined execution equally at home with smallholder farmers in rural communities and senior leaders in the boardroom.

Jerome Underhill is an operations-driven executive with deep experience building and scaling high-performance organisations.

As a Chief Operating Officer, he is recognised for translating strategy into execution strengthening systems, teams, controls and delivering quality across fast-moving environments. He also brings strong financial services expertise, including experience working on Africa-focused workstreams at Capital One, supporting operational excellence, customer-centred delivery, and risk-aware growth. Jerome’s leadership style is practical, disciplined, and impact-oriented well suited to organisations that must deliver reliably at scale.
